L’İzmir Devlet Opera ve Balesi brings to the stage Tosca by Giacomo Puccini, one of the most intense masterpieces of the opera repertoire. On the podium the maestro Roberto Gianola, orchestra, chorus and international cast in a production by director Yiğit Günsoy. Set in 1800s Rome, the opera tells a dramatic story of love, power and sacrifice, amidst the famous arias and cinematic atmosphere of Puccini's score.
